Molten Sea

"The Molten Sea or Brazen Sea (ים מוצק "cast metal sea") was a large basin in the Temple in Jerusalem made by Solomon for ablution of the priests. It is described in 1 Kings 7:23-26 and 2 Chronicles 4:2-5." - Wikipedia

"Each stream of life (Sons of Cain and Sons of Seth) flows onward side by side till a time comes when the wise and loving ones guiding the evolution decide that to hasten progress it is necessary that the two unite, and plan that this shall be accomplished by the building of a temple for the worshippers by the craftsmen and that both streams would unite in a Mystical Molten Sea" - Freemasonry And Catholicism By Max Heindel Preface

"There the two Initiatory Orders (Sons of Cain and Sons of Seth) met for the consummation of a definite work of amalgamation symbolically called The Molten Sea, a work which was then attempted for the first time." - Freemasonry And Catholicism By Max Heindel pg. 24

Every temple of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (LDS Church) contains a baptismal font on twelve oxen that is modeled after the molten sea. The LDS Church performs baptisms for the dead in these fonts.
