Helena Petrova Blavatasky was probably the most famous of the founders of the Theosophical Society. Her magnum opus is one of the major foundational works of Theosophy entitled, "The Secret Doctrine".

Lucis (Lucifer) Trust 

It was established in 1922 by Alice Bailey as the publishing company to disseminate the books of Bailey, Madame Blavatsky and the Theosophical Society. It's name was changed one year later to Lucis Trust. Lucis Trust is the Spiritual foundation of the United Nations. It also is the Publishing House which prints and disseminates United Nations material. It is well know for publishing New Age materials.
