National Reconnaissance Office (NRO)
The existence of the NRO was declassified on September 18, 1992, by the Deputy Secretary of Defense, as recommended by the Director of Central Intelligence, over 30 years after it was established. |

The NRO works with both the U.S. Intelligence Community and the Department of Defensesecret. They are often refereed to as the secret space program.
According to the official NRO website, their vision statement is Supra Et Ultra Latin for, "above and beyond".
While their mission statement is Innovative Overhead Intelligence Systems for National Security.
