Pinocchio

Pinocchio is a story of reaching enlightenment. He is the new man, the illumined man, the man that was able to make the evolutionary leap known as 666.

Pinocchio was originally written by Carlo Lorenzini better known by the pen name Carlo Collodi a freemason. Then, later made into a cartoon movie by Walt Disney. It was the second animated feature film produced by Disney.

In an essay called Pinocchio, mio Fratello (Pinocchio, my Brother) Italian Freemason Giovanni Malevolti describes the Masonic background of Lorenzini:

"Carlo Collodi's initiation into Freemasonry, but can not be found in any official records, is universally recognized and often referred to. Aldo Mola, a Mason that are not generally defined as an official historian of Freemasonry, has expressed with great certitude the writer's initiation into the Masonic family. Events in Collodi's life seem to further confirm this thesis: the creation in 1848 of a document called "Il Lampione" (The Lighthouse), which, as noted Lorenzini, "illuminated all who were teetering in darkness" but also considered a "passionate disciple of Mazzini (important and revolutionary Italian Mason)."

"There are two ways to read" The Adventures of Pinocchio ". The first is what I would call "profane" where the reader, most likely a child learns about the mishaps of the wooden puppet. The second is a reading from a Masonic point of view, where heavy symbolism complete, without replacing the simple, linear narrative of events. "

Geppetto seeking help receives it in the form of a fallen star that shoots in through the window and becomes The Blue Fairy.

The movie opens with the song, "When You Wish Upon A Star".

The Benevolent Father and Creator-Artisan, Geppetto was in all respects God.

Geppetto seeking help receives it in the form of a star that shoots in through the window and becomes The Blue Fairy.

"If you can be brave, truthful, and unselfish, and someday, you will no longer be a puppet but real boy.
Prove yourself brave, truthful, and unselfish, and someday, you will be a real boy." - The Blue Fairy

If he can follow the morning star with no human tendencies he will no longer be a puppet.

He will not longer be a puppet lost in darkness he will become free and enlightened.

Jiminy Cricket, Pinocchio's conscience, is a spiritual teacher who helps lead him to the light.

Cricket says, “What are conscience? I'll tell you. A conscience is that still small voice that people don't listen to”.

11 And he said, Go forth, and stand upon the mount before the Lord. And, behold, the Lord passed by, and a great and strong wind rent the mountains, and brake in pieces the rocks before the Lord; but the Lord was not in the wind: and after the wind an earthquake; but the Lord was not in the earthquake: 12 And after the earthquake a fire; but the Lord was not in the fire: and after the fire A STILL SMALL VOICE. 13 And it was so, when Elijah heard it, that he wrapped his face in his mantle, and went out, and stood in the entering in of the cave. And, behold, there came a voice unto him, and said, What doest thou here, Elijah? - 1 Kings 19:11-13 King James Version

“The character's name is a play on the minced oath exclamation "Jiminy Cricket!" – which itself was uttered in Pinocchio's immediate Disney predecessor, 1937's Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs. Another example occurs in the 1939 film The Wizard of Oz, wherein Dorothy (Judy Garland) cries, "Oh! Oh! Jiminy Crickets!" when she is startled by the Wizard's pyrotechnics. ”- Wikipedia

JC in the original work, Pinocchio gets annoyed with him and crushes and kills with his hand.

Pinocchio at one ponit himself starts to turn into a donkey. He is close to his material self at this point and very far from his spiritual self. The story of Apuleius’ The Metamorphoses or Golden Ass bears many resemblances with Pinocchio.

Pinocchio reaches his lowest point in total darkness.

He is swallowed by a whale. Jonah was also swallowed by a giant fish, before he was able to change his ways.

"For as Jonah was in the belly of the fish three days and three nights, so shall the Son of man in the heart of the earth three days and three nights". Matthew 12:40 King James Version

"When used as a symbol of evil, the fish represented the earth (man’s lower nature) and the tomb (the sepulcher of the Mysteries). Thus was Jonah three days in the belly of the “great fish,” as Christ was three days in the tomb...

...The story of Jonah is really a legend of initiation into the Mysteries, and the “great fish” represents the darkness of ignorance which engulfs man when he is thrown over the side of the ship (is born) into the sea (life).” Manly P. Hall, The Secret Teachings of All Ages

Jesus also-like Pinocchio was the son of a carpenter.

Once,  Pinocchio is released from the whale he received a baptism. Pinocchio does not survive the fury of the ocean and eventually drowns.

Pinocchio like Jonah then changes. He becomes born again, awakened, or reaches enlightenment.

The veil has lifted he is a real boy no longer a puppet.

Jiminy Cricket receives a gold badge representing the alchemical process of enlightenment.
