Baha’i

Pictured above is Baha'i International Community United Nations Office located at  866 United Nations Plaza, New York, NY 10017, United States. Baha'i is the only religion approved by the United Nations.

Baha’i wants the reconciliation of all major religions. The unity of all religions into an one world religion.

The mystery schools, Baha'i, Untied Nations, and Theosophy are just some of the groups that promote The Great Work.

Baha’is are not only expected to understand their own uniquely Baha'i scriptures, but are also expected to study the scriptures of other world religions.

"Bahá’í beliefs address such essential themes as the oneness of God and religion, the oneness of humanity and freedom from prejudice, the inherent nobility of the human being, the progressive revelation of religious truth, the development of spiritual qualities, the integration of worship and service, the fundamental equality of the sexes, the harmony between religion and science, the centrality of justice to all human endeavours, the importance of education, and the dynamics of the relationships that are to bind together individuals, communities, and institutions as humanity advances towards its collective maturity."- http://www.bahai.org/beliefs/

"The whole world must be looked upon as one single country, all the nations as one nation, all men as belonging to one race.

..one man should not live in excess while another has no possible means of existence.

The Law must reign, and not the individual;... " - Paris Talks Author: ‘Abdu’l-Bahá Source: UK Bahá’í Publishing Trust, 1972 eleventh edition reprint

Baha'i teachings are of one creator God, who is described in different ways by various religions and revealed by the Messengers.

'Throughout the ages, God has sent Divine Messengers known as Manifestations of God—among them Abraham, Krishna, Zoroaster, Moses, Buddha, Jesus Christ, Muhammad, and, in more recent times, the Báb and Bahá’u’lláh—to cultivate humanity’s spiritual, intellectual and moral capacities." - http://www.bahai.org/beliefs/god-his-creation/revelation/

"The Bahá’í Writings are also replete with references to universal peace—“the supreme goal of all mankind”—as well as explanations of the social principles with which this peace is associated.

Among these principles are the independent search after truth; the oneness of the entire human race, which is the pivotal principle of the Bahá’í Faith; the abolition of all forms of prejudice; the harmony which must exist between religion and science; the equality of men and women, the two wings on which the bird of humankind is able to soar; the introduction of compulsory education; the adoption of a universal auxiliary language; the abolition of the extremes of wealth and poverty; the institution of a world tribunal for the adjudication of disputes between nations; and the confirmation of justice as the ruling principle in human affairs." - http://www.bahai.org/beliefs/universal-peace/

The design of Bahá’i Temples are nine sided, domed structure with nine entries for the nine major religions. The 9 pointed star they often use has the same meaning.

Theosophy and Baha'i

"There are two kinds of light. There is the visible light of the sun,... ...(and) light of the intellect is the highest light that exists, for it is born of the Light Divine. The light of the intellect enables us to understand and realize all that exists, but it is only the Divine Light that can give us sight for the invisible things, and which enables us to see truths that will only be visible to the world thousands of years hence." - Paris Talks Author: ‘Abdu’l-Bahá Source: UK Bahá’í Publishing Trust, 1972 eleventh edition reprint

"Truth may be likened to the sun! The sun is the luminous body that disperses all 128 shadows; in the same way does truth scatter the shadows of our imagination. As the sun gives life to the body of humanity so does truth give life to their souls. Truth is a sun that rises from different points on the horizon." - Paris Talks Author: ‘Abdu’l-Bahá Source: UK Bahá’í Publishing Trust, 1972 eleventh edition reprint

Question.--(It was remarked, Theosophy teaches that truth in all the religions is the same): Does the task of unifying all religions have 'Abdu'l-Bahá's sympathy?
"Answer.--Surely." (Attributed to 'Abdu'l-Bahá, 'Abdu'l-Bahá in London, p. 62)

"O Bahá'u'lláh! May I be a sacrifice for Thee. O Bahá'u'lláh! May my life be offered up for Thee. Thou hast spoken the Word which cannot be refuted. What a wonderful Cause Thou hast founded! It satisfies every assemblage! Each group testifies to its greatness. In the churches it shakes the souls; it excites the Theosophists; it imparts spirituality to the spiritualists; it makes the Unitarians aware of the reality of unity; it makes the socialists contented and grateful and inspires joy and happiness in the peace meetings. There is no refuge for any denomination except in submission to it. It is a miracle! It is the greatest force in the world of existence. This is all through the assistance of the Blessed Beauty. If healing the lame and crippled is a miracle, it can also be produced by a dose of medicine. This is no great achievement." (Mahmúd's Diary, September 4, 1912)
