Adonis

"The legend of Adonis is: That he was the King of Cyprus. Adonis was possessed of such surprising beauty that "Venus" (Goddess of Love) became enamored with him, and adopted him as her favorite. On his descent to the infernal regions Proserpine (Queen of Hades) became, like Venus, so attracted by his beauty that, not withstanding the entreaties of the goddess of love she refused to restore him to earth. At length the prayers of the desponding Venus were listened to with favor by Jupiter (Father of Men and Gods) who reconciled the dispute between the two goddesses, and by whose decree Proserpine was compelled to consent that Adonis should spend six months of each year alternately with herself and Venus."– The origin of Freemasonry and Knights templar by Bennett, John Richardson, (1907) pg. 10-11

  1. Just a thought, but look at how closely the name "Adonis" is to the Aramaic "Adonai" while remembering the words of Jesus when he exposed the Talmud following Pharisees by saying "you are of your father the devil and wish to do his will." Aramaic is also known as Syriack (see the book of Daniel) which is from Babylon. There are also two Talmuds. The Babylonian and the Jerusalem. Jesus LIVES!!!!!
